There
are four main screens within the TradeAnalyst program.
Main Window:
This
screen displays your overall results and how much you'll likely
earn or lose per month, your ROI (return on investment) and much more. A
true snapshot. All the basic calculations you need to know are right
there, looking you in the face. You are able to quick-sort with 5
timeline buttons, or choose your own dates using our handy date picker.
It even shows your averages per day in the yellow boxes. In the
example you can see that I had won 1,312 pips, only to loose 1,177 of them to bad
trades. Being aware of that can really change your outlook. Click on the
first image below to see for yourself.
Charts:
Nearly a dozen different views are possible in this window! View your
past trades in a bar or line graph for an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly
time period. See the trends between your long and short trades.
Observe the progress of your account balance in an easy to read line
(hopefully going upwards!). Imagine looking at the hourly chart and
realizing that you make nearly all your profit around 07:00 hours, and
continually loose in the flat afternoons. Just knowing that simple
fact can make you a more efficient trader.
More Numbers:
This
is the screen that lets you see, in numbers, what aspect of your strategy
works best. You are able to sort by pips, time of day, average pips,
etc. The last column even gives you a "score", which is the
combination of pips and amount of trades for a certain pair/day/time.
100 pips on just one trade isn't very probable for the future, but imagine
if you have found an exact time that nets you an average of 50 pips over the
past 10 time periods? THAT would be valuable information. Over
time the system will learn, your best trades will be filtered through our
algorithms and be displayed in the last column.

*Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No
representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve
profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently
sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual
results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program.
One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are
generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical
trading does not involve financial risk. Variables such as the ability to
adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses as well as
maintaining adequate liquidity are material points which can adversely
affect actual real trading results.
